Glenn Greenwald interviews Sen. Feingold

Interview with Sen. Russ Feingold - Glenn Greenwald - Salon.com

Even for those who are disillusioned and angry with the Democratic Party, or even apathetic about the outcome generally of the 2010 elections, Russ Feingold is one of the very few candidates whose re-election is genuinely worth caring about. No matter how bad Democrats generally become, Feingold's presence in the Senate provides unique and real value.

If Sarah Palin comes here to campaign for Ron Johnson, Feingold is done.

If Obama comes here to campaign for Feingold, Feingold is done.

I really enjoyed Feingold hiding from Obama when he was here over Labor Day.

I also enjoy the idea that Feingold is not broadcasting a simple commercial saying, "Yes! I voted for the Stalinist health care bill! I want DC bureaucrats to make your health care decisions!"

Why is Russ ashamed to talk about his health care vote?
