The sound of drums from the Kettle Moraine.
I'm looking forward to Kevin's comments on this. Wasn't he on the GinnyExpress?
Dan,What do you want me to say?You obviously support the agenda to have mature/explicit material in front of children at taxpayer's expense.I don't have a problem with your agenda to put mature/explicit material in front of children...as long as you pay for it (or some other group lacking in sound judgment with their own money) and get permission of the child's parents/guardian.The WB librarian's (and staff's) agenda to do this at taxpayers expense, without parental/guardian permission is perverse.Undermining parents is an agenda I will never support.
Kevin: how are librarians undermining parents or preventing parental supervision? All parents have to do is raise their kids right and supervise them. That's not the job of a librarian -- or do you want GOVERNMENT in charge of raising your kids?
Oh Kevin, stop making shit up. Maybe your shit flies in Kewaskum, but not in the real world.I know you haven't read any of the books in question. When you have, let's talk.
