Intelligent Design: Scientifically and Religiously Bankrupt

Even religiously?

Uh, yeah.

Looking for perfection in an imperfect world...

Descartes had excellent commentary on this.

I think this article backs up ID.

Did I just "stir the pot"?

Will this earn me another ban?

Hard to tell what thoughts offend liberalism and will be stamped out and censored today. I was hoping someone provide a "guidebook" on "acceptable" thought here.

Did Ayn Rand also write the complete account of Descartes?

Last week I saw an amazing performance by a top drag queen and I was probably the only straight guy in the room. Deborah Harry was behind me in line and Sandra Bernhard jumped on stage to sing... yet had Kevin been there he most certainly would have been the biggest drama queen in attendance.

Oh as Yoda would say: "Fragile, Kevin is".

The fact the human genome is imperfect further proves that nature does not have the ability to generate this "supernatural" idea of perfection by example in nature.

I think this Huffington Post article bolsters the ID side of the argument. Where does the idea of perfection actually come from if we now concluded the idea or example of perfection does not exist in human genome?

Oh boy, I just "bashed" the evolution religion...probably in trouble with the "progressive" thought police bad.

Sandra Bernhard,
You have my sympathies.
Jeff Beck, Black Crowes, and Thievery Corporation are coming to Summerfest.
Better use of time.

Kevin - your posts would be much better if you didn't end every one with a little rant about what a poor victim you are. Nobody likes a whiner.

Sanrda was awesome! She and Justin Bond sang the theme from Tootsie to each other! No ukes, unfortunately. And Jeff Beck's work on the last Morrissey album was great. Black Crowes... meh. I wouldn't go see them myself, but understand the appeal for sure. Go listen to the new Beach House album "Teen Dream", or at least check out the song "Norway". My friend produced it and it's great.

I thought the progressive movement was to help "victims"?

Is there something I can do to improve the quality of my "victimhood" to make you fight for me to?

Are you opposed to people making themselves into "victims"?

DanBack said...

I can't save you from yourself Kevin :)

Kevin, you are a victim of yourself and your own self-imposed ignorance. That wouldn't be so bad if you weren't so proud of your ignorance and didn't insist on forming opinions based on your ignorance. You are your worst enemy.

So are you giving "tough love", pull myself up by the boot straps, right wing advice?

James Dionne said...

I just can't stand his "use" of quotation "marks" in every "post".

DanBack said...

"right wing advice"! HA! Love it!

Quotation marks are how Randians "do" irony.
