From Glenn Greenwald:

How much longer will the US subsidize this behaviour?

"behaviour"? You are a European Socialist! (Or did you just copy and paste that british spelling off the talking points?) And now, who's the Nazi?? Seriously, Hamas isn't the innocent the left thinks in this, they were provoking Israel for a week and now they are screaming like world war three when they get slapped. The US wouldn't put up with a pseudo invasion by terrorists, and neither should Israel.

I had to adjust my spelling practices through the years of living in Canada in order to survive graduate school -- it was difficult enough to be taken seriously translating Aristotle with a southern accent. But, if Dewey was a European Socialist, then so am I.

Also I spent a fair bit of my childhood growing up in a Jewish neighborhood outside Chicago where I learned to say seder and then, in grad school, living with Egyptian and Lebanese room mates, so please don't imagine I'm being naive about this.

Are you under the impression that Israel has lived up to any of the provisions of the Camp David accords -- most especially those concerning the settlements?

Are you under the impression that dropping commandos out of helicopters is not a provocative act? Personally, I'd've probably reacted the same way.

How much longer will you be content to see your tax dollars subsidize universal health care for Israelis but not for us?
