Mark,

Yawn. This is nothing compared to every Democrat running scared from the events in Mass. 2 weeks ago!

That's still worth talking about!

I'm still hopeful it'll crash the Democratic Party, the way the Tea Partiers are busting up the Republicans. It'd be nice if the voters actually had some input again ... something that was true during the last campaign, btw, and got cut off pretty quickly once the parties were back in charge.

But I like Mr. Ryan's ability to work with Sen Feingold to produce the Janesville-line-item-veto. He'd be a good progressive if he could shake off his party's obligations to Big Money.

He can't shake that big money part because the Peterson political endorsement/blessing may not be good for his national ambitions

Grin... are you under the impression that one person more than 35% of Washington County gives a whit what I say about anything? much less Mr. Ryan's owners?

Tsk.

In today's political environment...certain endorsements could be used against him in primaries to prove "he just isn't conservative enough."

After all, isn't that what the Obama people did to poor Hilliary when many right wing pundits began stoking her primary run?

"Hilliary just isn't liberal enough" was the leftist montage.

So you could, possibly, hold Ryan's national ambitions in the palm of your hand.
