Meet the Billionaire Brothers Funding the Right-Wing War on Obama

When the Cato Institute, Heritage Foundation and Americans for Prosperity are all bankrolled by the same guys, what looks like grassroots turns out to be hardwood floors with servants to keep them properly polished.

Meet the Billionaire Brothers Funding the Right-Wing War on Obama
The Cato Institute -- founded by Charles -- as well as other Koch-funded think tanks like the Heritage Foundation, produced a blizzard of reports distorting the stimulus and calling for a return to Bush-style tax cuts to combat the recession. As their fronts were battling the stimulus, David's Americans for Prosperity (AFP) spent the opening months of the Obama presidency placing calls and helping to organize the very first "tea party" protests. AFP, founded in 1984 by David and managed day to day by the astroturf lobbyist Tim Phillips, has spent much of the year mobilizing "tea party" opposition to health reform, clean energy legislation, and financial regulations.

Wow, what a bunch of crap. How about taking a look at George Soros, who made billions off bank crisis in England, is hedging the US dollar so he can make more billions. Of course, he needs "sheeps" to make it happen so he funded KOS.

The Koch brothers never spent billions teaching English, and the principles of democratic government, to nearly every school kid in central and eastern Europe after the USSR tanked.

Soros also has the advantage over the Koch's in having read Karl Popper. So, as we used to say when I lived in Canada, "take off, eh."

After reading the post, Mark, I was sure someone would comment about Soros. Ha! Wing-nuts, so predictable.

And why do they always say stuff like this person did: "How about taking a look at ...."

Do you think they will follow their own advice?

Are you defending George Soros, a foreigner, undermining U.S. elections by funding the Democratic Party and the left wing?

Wow! Now I've seen it all.

So billionaires influencing U.S. elections is OK---as long as they influence it toward bigger government, more taxes, and greater government control of our lives!

Isn't this a little intellectually dishonest?

Grin. Nope.

How about intellectually inconsistent?
