NetNanny prevents viewing Maziarka website.

Hi everyone,

Our friends at The Other Side of My Mouth have discovered that NetNanny is successfully keeping their kids from viewing the WISSUP site.

Irony is the only true weapon against those who are tyrants of their own souls.

Glad I followed the link - this was well worth it:

"When the mind's eye rests on objects illuminated by truth and reality, it understands and comprehends them, and functions intelligently; but when it turns to the twilight world of change and decay, it can only form opinions, its vision is confused and its beliefs shifting, and it seems to lack intelligence. (Plato, Republic)"

"Its vision is confused and its beliefs shifting" says so much about Ginny, methinks.

What is "Tiddly pom". Never heard that. I don't agree with alternative sexual lifestyles and just appreciate have the material placed in a proper place out of reach to my children. Yes they are my children until they are 18. Seems the rest of the controversy has gotten out of control. NetNanny searches for all kinds of words related to porn, so if you put a word like porn on your site, it will get caught.

As noted before, you don't have to worry. All of those materials were never in the kids section -- young adults, yes. Kids, no.

More importantly, however, are the hums of Winnie the Pooh... one of which goes like this:

SONG FOR SNOWY WEATHER

The more it
Snows-tiddley-pom
The more it
Goes-tiddley-pom
The more it
Goes-tiddley-pom
on
Snowing.

And Nobody
Knows-tiddley-pom,
How cold my
Toes-tiddley-pom
Are Growing.

I'm only in philosophy because of too much Pooh as a child.
